At the Avloni National Research Institute of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, an event on the theme “Combating Cybercrime – A Demand of the Time!” was organized for professional development course participants. It was aimed at promoting knowledge about types of cybercrime, their consequences, and ways to protect against them.
The event was led by officers from the Almazar District Department of Internal Affairs’ division for combating IT crimes — Captain J. Erkinov and Senior Lieutenant A. Qodirov.
Additionally, Captain Sh. Mukhammatqulov from the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs’ Cybersecurity Division, and Captain Sh. Khudayberdiyev from the Department for Crime Prevention spoke about cybersecurity.
Video presentations and explanations were provided on avoiding cybercriminal traps, protecting personal data, not sharing bank card information with strangers, and refraining from risky gambling activities.
