This article examines the responses of students to selected mathematics questions in the PISA 2022 international study. The PISA 2022 main assessment primarily consisted of tasks containing a greater number of mathematics-related questions. The article first presents samples of open-ended mathematics test items, including the objective and description of each question, the mathematical content domain, context, types of cognitive processes, and the performance indicators of Uzbek students in an international context. The structures of certain test items are described, and the formats of the tasks as well as the correct answers are provided. In addition, the article reports the average percentage of correct answers for students from Uzbekistan and from OECD member countries.
